Welcome. My name is Craig Piskura. I am a semi-retired, former high school English teacher who has a lot to say about a lot of topics. I taught in CT public schools for 27 years and coached various sports for almost as long. I write what’s on my mind, from the heart. I write with sincerity and a bit of sass. I realize my opinions may not be your opinions, and my intent is not to persuade but to promote – promote understanding, conversation and self-reflection. My brain is a bit mercurial, like a pinball machine just before tilting, and my knowledge of tech is a bit archaic (I still used a typewriter in college), so be patient as I try to harness the whirlwind of thoughts that rent space in my head. I need to express them; I hope you choose to read them.
